The University of Nebraska Medical Center?s Department of Pharmacy Practice in the College of Pharmacy and the Department of Health Services Research and Administration in the College of Public Health are recruiting for a 12-month, tenure-leading faculty position in Health Outcomes. Rank is open based on previous experience. We are looking for a dynamic individual to enhance our outcomes research and professional, graduate and postgraduate teaching programs. Individuals, eligible for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, with an interest in health outcomes research, medication safety, comparative effectiveness research, health services research, health policy, and/or rural health care research and development are encouraged to apply. Teaching responsibilities will include the professional pharmacy and public health programs and graduate programs. The individual will serve the Departments and Colleges through involvement as a member, and in leadership roles with various committees and organizations. This position is a fully funded state line.

The successful applicant must possess a Pharm.D., M.D., or Ph.D. degree, and if applicable be eligible for practice licensure in Nebraska. A competitive salary and start-up package will be available. The successful applicant will have a joint faculty appointment in the College of Pharmacy and the College of Public Health.
